Once inside the fish, they are almost impossible to remove. The long-term health implications are not yet known, but recent studies have shown regular consumption of these harmful toxins to be detrimental to our physical and mental health. Algae is free from all these toxins, yet contains the same form of Omega-3 as fish oil. However, that is unnecessary as there is no nutritional reason to have more EPA, other than to be like fish oil. Fish oil is rich in Omega-3s simply because fish eat microalgae. Therefore it makes sense to eliminate the negative aspects of fish oil and bypass the fish – and obtain your DHA directly from the original food source – algae oil. Both are well studied by the scientific community for health benefits ranging from strong hearts to mental well-being. Most people are aware of omega-3s as sourced from fish oil, but newly circulated information about omega-3s sourced from algae is raising questions about the difference and leading many to wonder which to use as a supplement. Both these problems equal less than fresh fish oil. Rancid fish oil can be disguised by using enteric coated capsules, which enable the fish oil to pass through the stomach and reach the intestines before dissolving. With Triple Power Omega 3, you won’t have cause for complaint. Here’s why: we have no need to hide our fish oil in a capsule. When using fish oil supplements, the best form of omega-3 fish oil contains astaxanthin (a powerful antioxidant that also helps stabilize fish oil), and the preferred choice is fish oil made from wild-caught pacific salmon, which has high levels of DHA/EPA and astaxanthin. Omega-3, while mostly found in fish oil, is actually also present in significant levels in many plant foods, such as chia and hemp seeds, as well as algal oil. Yes, algae have oil. There are plenty of options for plant eaters who want to ensure an adequate intake of Omega-3, and all of the ALA, EPA and DHA (more on these later), without
